CSStatLab is a free performance-analytics site for Counter-Strike 2. In one place you can look up any player's real match statistics, learn exactly what each number means, and use a set of free CS2 tools and calculators to improve your own game.

If you have ever stared at your stats after a match and wondered "is this good?", "what should I fix?", or "how do the pros actually differ from me?" - that gap between seeing numbers and understanding them is exactly what CSStatLab exists to close.

This page is the quick tour: what the site does, the stats it tracks, where the data comes from, the Academy that explains it all, and the free tools that help you act on it.

What CSStatLab Does

At its core, CSStatLab turns raw CS2 match data into clean, readable insight.

  • Player search. Start on the home page and paste a Steam ID, a Steam profile URL, or a vanity link. CSStatLab resolves it and takes you straight to that player's profile.
  • Real match-based stats. Profiles are built from actual games, not guesses - recent matches, trends, ranks and statistical signals, all in one view.
  • Understanding, not just numbers. Every stat links back to a plain-English explanation in the Academy, so a profile is a starting point for learning, not a dead end.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to pay. Look up yourself, look up a friend, or study a pro - it all works the same way.

The CS2 Stats CSStatLab Tracks

CSStatLab focuses on the stats that actually tell you something, then explains each one so you know what to do about it. Here are the big ones.

Aim and mechanics

  • Aim rating - a summary of your raw aiming performance. Learn how it is built in Understanding Aim Rating.
  • Time to Damage (TTD) - how quickly you deal damage after an enemy appears. This is far more trainable than raw reaction time - see Time to Damage Explained.
  • Accuracy and headshot percentage - how often your shots land and how many kills are headshots. Read Accuracy Stats Explained and Headshot Percentage Explained.
  • Preaim - a measure of how well your crosshair is already placed when a duel starts, one of the biggest hidden aim skills.

Output and impact

  • K/D and ADR. K/D is the classic ratio; ADR (average damage per round) often tells a truer story of your output. See What Is a Good K/D? and What is ADR?.
  • Impact rating - how much your actions actually swing rounds, beyond fragging. Explained in Impact Rating.
  • KAST - the percentage of rounds where you contributed a kill, assist, survival or trade. A great consistency stat - see Understanding KAST.
  • Win rate and recent form - the bottom line and how it is trending. Read Win Rate Explained and Reading Your Recent Form.

Reading it all properly

Numbers lie if you read them wrong. CSStatLab's Academy teaches you how to read a profile the right way:

  • How to Read Your Profile - the master guide to turning a profile into an improvement plan.
  • Understanding Statistical DNA - what your unique mix of stats says about your playstyle.
  • Sample Size Explained and Why One Match Doesn't Matter - why you should never judge yourself on a single game.

Where the Data Comes From

CSStatLab builds profiles from real, public CS2 data, combining several trusted sources:

  • Steam for profile identity and public match information.
  • Leetify for deep match analytics and advanced stats.
  • FACEIT for third-party competitive data where available.

Because the data is real match data, it reflects how you actually play. If your numbers ever look different from another site, that is usually down to how each platform samples and calculates - explained in Why don't my numbers match another stats site? and Are these my official in-game stats?.

Your privacy matters: CSStatLab only uses public data, and you can read exactly how that works in Is my data private and safe?. If your profile is not showing, the fix is usually in Why can't I see my stats?.

The CSStatLab Academy

The Academy is the heart of CSStatLab - a large, free CS2 knowledge hub that explains the stats, the mechanics, the maps and the meta. It is organized into clear categories:

  • Statistics - what every stat means and how to read your profile.
  • Gameplay - core mechanics and concepts: crosshair placement, counter-strafing, peeker's advantage, trading and much more.
  • Maps - per-map callouts, economy, executes and retakes for the active-duty pool, plus common death spots to fix your repeat mistakes.
  • Weapons - spray patterns, matchups and buys, from the AK-47 spray pattern to the best eco weapons.
  • Rankings - how ranks and rating actually work.

Whether you are a new player learning the basics or an experienced one chasing the last few percent, the Academy meets you where you are. It is the "why" behind every number on your profile.

Free CS2 Tools and Calculators

Understanding your stats is step one; acting on your settings is step two. The Tools section gives you free, no-signup calculators and generators:

These are the kind of tools you come back to again and again - which is exactly why they live alongside the stats and the Academy.

Ranks, Rating and Where You Stand

A huge part of CS2 is understanding your rank and how it moves. CSStatLab's rankings content explains it honestly:

  • CS2 Ranks Explained - Premier and Competitive, side by side.
  • Premier Rating Explained and How CS2 Rating Works - what the number means and how it changes.
  • HLTV Rating vs Leetify Rating - the two big "overall performance" numbers, compared.
  • FACEIT Levels and Elo Explained - for players on third-party platforms.

Best Of: Curated Starting Points

If you would rather browse than search, the Best Of section collects curated landing pages - the best CS2 players, maps, stats and settings to study. It is a great way to discover profiles worth analyzing and topics worth learning.

Is CSStatLab Official or Affiliated?

No - and that independence is a feature. CSStatLab is not affiliated with Valve, Steam, Leetify or FACEIT. It is an independent analytics and learning site that uses public data to help players understand and improve. You can read the full answer in Is CSStatLab affiliated with Valve or FACEIT?.

How to Get Started

  1. Look yourself up. Go to the home page and paste your Steam ID or profile link.
  2. Read your profile properly. Open How to Read Your Profile and go stat by stat.
  3. Pick one thing to fix. Maybe it is crosshair placement, maybe your economy, maybe a map you keep dying on.
  4. Use the tools. Sort your sensitivity and crosshair, then build a practice config.
  5. Come back and check. Play, re-check your stats, and see the number move. That loop - measure, learn, adjust, repeat - is the whole point of CSStatLab.

The Takeaway

CSStatLab is where CS2 stats, learning and tools meet. It turns real match data into a clear picture of how you play, the Academy explains every part of that picture, and the tools help you act on it - all free, no account required. Whether you want to track your progress, understand a single confusing stat, or systematically climb the ranks, everything you need starts with looking yourself up and reading your profile with fresh eyes.
