Editorial Policy
CSStatLab publishes Counter-Strike 2 guides, explanations and data-informed reference pages. This page explains how that content is researched, written, updated and corrected.
What we are trying to do
CSStatLab exists to help players understand their stats and make better decisions in CS2. We aim to publish content that is useful first: practical guides, plain-language stat explainers, map knowledge and reference pages that save readers time.
We do not try to present estimates as official truth. Many CS2 metrics are contextual, sample-size sensitive, or derived from public data sources that can change over time.
How content is written
Academy articles are written and edited for readers, not just search intent. Before publishing, we try to answer a simple question: would this page still be worth reading if search engines did not exist?
We prefer complete explanations over thin summaries. When a page is short because the topic is narrow, we try to make it specific and actionable rather than padded.
Sources and verification
Player statistics and profile views are built from public or licensed third-party data sources such as Steam, Leetify and FACEIT. Professional setup pages are compiled from public sources and re-checked periodically because players change hardware, sensitivity and settings over time.
If a setup or event detail cannot be verified with reasonable confidence, the page may omit the value, label it as historical, or stay out of the search index until it is stronger.
Updates, corrections and freshness
We update pages when the game changes, when public data shifts, or when a guide needs clarification. Articles display an updated date so readers can see when the page was last reviewed.

CSStatLab is an independent site. Some pages may contain advertising or affiliate links, but monetization does not guarantee a positive recommendation, ranking or placement.
